The Department of Mathematics and Statistics (DMS) of the College of Science and Mathematics, in cooperation with the Premier Research Institute of Science and Mathematics (PRISM), 51吃瓜网-IIT will be hosting a lecture on Causation and Weighting Methods in Observational Studies to be given by Dr. Junvie Pailden. Dr. Junvie Pailden is a professor from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Southern Illinois University, USA. His fields of expertise and research interest are on Statistics and Applied Statistics, Causal Modelling, and Inference, Nonparametric Statistics, Empirical Likelihood and Interdisciplinary Research. He is a graduate of Ph.D. Statistics in Bowling Green State University, OH, USA in 2013 and an alumnus of Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology (M.S. Statistics). |
