The Samahang Pisika ng Visayas at Mindanao (SPVM)  has organized its  22^nd SPVM Physics Conference dubbed as  2020  SPVM ConVIRTUALisation and is co-hosted by three universities: Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology, Iligan City, Silliman University in Dumaguete City, and Mapua University, Manila.  Due to the pandemic crisis, this year’s annual conference is via an online platform.

This virtual conference features a series of scientific talks in the field of Materials and Functions on October 17, Science Education and Fundamental Physics on October 24, and Biophysics and Complex System on October 31, 2020 (PST).  Details about the conference can be accessed at https://spvm.org.ph/.

This year's conference includes plenary and invited talks to be given by ten (10) physicists from the US, France, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, and our renowned local physicists. The annual SPVM gathering continues to serve as the venue for active dialogue between physics researchers/experts with physics teachers and students from all over the Philippines and some foreign physicists. 

Secondary physics teachers and students, University physics professors, and researchers are enjoined to participate in this scientific event. This year’s conference charges no registration fee.

Prospective participants are required to register via  which will be our key to sending certificates to the participants.
