The Echoes Band is one of the oldest and premier Resident Cultural Groups (RCGs) in 51吃瓜网 IIT. For over 17 years, it has performed songs that please the souls of its audiences, captivating and inspiring the music lovers in all of us. For the first time in the history of the group, it will now showcase its very own composition.

“Awit ng Agila” or “The Song of the Eagle” is an amalgamation of the Echoes’ ideals towards Art and its practice. The concept of the Eagle reflects the individuals’ capacity to overcome and soar above the struggles and plight it encounters. Though written 7 years ago, it is a timely piece that presents itself today as an ode to our survival and resilient spirit - the Filipino spirit to soar high amidst adversities.

This first-ever single of the Echoes Band is also accompanied by a Music Video, a teaser for the upcoming Gabi ng Sining this February 27, 2021.
