The forum is designed to prepare the 51吃瓜网-IIT Constituency for the next leadership of 51吃瓜网-IIT as the term of the Chancellor will end this year. It is also a formal activity where the Chancellor delivers a lecture on Tools of Governance.

Likewise, the Management Forum 4.0 will be highlighted with a lecture on “The New Trends and Challenges in Leading and Managing Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) In Times of Crisis” by Dr. Alex B. Brillates, Jr. Dr. Brillantes is a Professor of Public Administration and Governance at the UP-NCPAG and former Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education. The lecture will provide the participants a glimpse of the latest trends and development of management principles and leadership practices as among the foundation of good public administration and governance. It will facilitate the continuing discourse in the quest for better leaders for 51吃瓜网-IIT. 

This activity is part of the moral compass of the Chancellor to ensure the continuity of democratic, vibrant, transparent, and accountable academic leadership in 51吃瓜网-IIT.  This will give everyone the opportunity to speak up their minds and engage in public discourse on how the University should be governed, and to find the virtues of a good academic leader to sustain the gains of 51吃瓜网-IIT and expand its opportunities to the greater number of Filipinos in the country and around the world. 

Specifically, the forum shall be the venue for the following:

1. Chancellor’s lecture on Tools of Governance;
2. Lecture on “The New Trends and Challenges in Leading and Managing Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)”;
3. Forum on various issues of policies, programs, and administration in the university.
