The Center for Culture and Arts Studies joins the Foreign Language 102 (Bahasa Asing 2) students from the Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies (BA ELS) and Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management (BS HRM) in their culminating activity, "Bahasa Asing dalam konteks Asia Tenggara". With this as the theme, the students have prepared pre-recorded videos, ranging from role playing, song medley, short speech, and tiktok, all in Bahasa. The whole activity aims to promote the importance of learning a foreign language that is within the educational road map of ASEAN integration as well as the Institute's internationalization landscape. Learning through conversations is a strategy that offers students a variety of online resources, strengthens collaborative platforms, initiates higher levels of cultural conversations, and creates academic spaces for future endeavors. Dr. Nurhayati Rahman Matammeng, a faculty of Universitas Hasanuddin , Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia will be the guest of honor. Ibu Nur was a visiting professor of the Department of English , College of Arts and Social Sciences in 2018. Join us in this "percakapan dan pembelajan" dengan pelajar pelajar dalam Bahasa Asing 2. |
