Happening on October 18 and 25, November 8, 15 and 22, 2021, this webinar series aims to integrate the concepts and principles of Design Thinking as a process/methodology or pedagogical approach in the teaching and learning of Technology Education subjects. The activity is a relevant and timely approach into developing research-based projects in the different lecture and laboratory subjects of technology education. As part of enhancing teachers’ approach in a remote teaching and learning modality the Department of Technology Teacher Education aims to introduce and integrate the Design Thinking approach in the learning process. This webinar series is a one-month long webinar series which will be hosted by the Department of Technology Teacher Education of the College of Education of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø-IIT with an invited International Visiting Professor from our partner university.

 Specifically, this webinar series will focus on the following areas:

 â–  Understanding the concept and principle of Design Thinking Approach

 â–  Integrating the Design Thinking Approach in the teaching and learning process   in a remote teaching and learning modality

 â–  Embedding the Design Thinking as a research process in the product development in the technology education areas

The resource speaker for this event is Associate Professor Dr. Sasithep Pitiporntapin of Kasetsart University in Thailand.
