This is a virtual conference and annual scientific convention of Mindanaoan microbiologists, educators, students, and representatives from government offices, health institutions, industries, and laboratories to discuss issues in public health, food security, agriculture, and industries in recent times and the crucial role played by microbiology and biotechnology in dealing with these problems. Aiming to promote scientific knowledge in microbiology and its related fields, this year’s PSM-Mindanao convention will be hosted by the Microbiology and Biotechnology Group of the Department of Biological Sciences of the College of Science and Mathematics. The activity will have the theme, Microbiology and Biotechnology: Scientific Opportunities to Address Challenges in Mindanao. |
