via Zoom

Description:

The Liknayan Talks (LiTalk) is a monthly science/physics research colloquium organized by the Society of Physics Graduate Students (SPGS) and the Department of Physics, which serves as an avenue for the graduate students to share and/or learn the latest advances on their respective fields.

In this webinar, by Dr. Maria Vanessa Balois-Oguchi, a Special Postdoctoral researcher at RIKEN Center for Advanced Photonics, Wakoshi, Japan, will share her research work on advanced spectroscopy entitled “Making the invisible visible: Breaking the diffraction limit with nanospectroscopy”. The second talk will be given by Dr. Ryan John Cubero, an alumnus of IIT and currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Institute of Science and Technology (IST) Austria, will share their work entitled “Typical properties of maximally informative datasets”.
