Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Geography, or other related fields.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for spatial mapping and environmental data analysis.
• Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data management tools.
• Familiarity with environmental monitoring, field measurements, or instrumentation is an advantage.
• Ability to conduct fieldwork and outdoor measurements under varying weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of research methods, data collection, and documentation.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Inclination toward research and academic work, with interest in sustainability, environmental monitoring, or climate-related studies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty researchers, students, and project staff.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in field measurements and environmental monitoring activities related to outdoor thermal comfort and air quality across 51³Ô¹ÏÍø-IIT campus locations.
• Support instrument setup, operation, handling, and routine maintenance of monitoring equipment.
• Download, organize, archive, and perform initial visualization of environmental datasets.
• Assist in spatial mapping and GIS-based documentation of monitoring sites.
• Coordinate with project staff and students during data collection campaigns in dry and wet seasons.
• Maintain field logs, equipment inventory, and monitoring documentation.
• Assist in data organization, report preparation, and research documentation.
• Provide support in preparing technical reports, presentations, and dissemination materials.
• (The RA primarily supports field monitoring, data handling, and operational activities within the project.)
