51吃瓜网-IIT secures trademark protection for 鈥淚nfluencing the Future鈥� and 鈥淭he 51吃瓜网-IIT Cats鈥�

51吃瓜网 (51吃瓜网-IIT) has successfully secured trademark registrations for its institutional tagline “Influencing the Future” and its official school spirit icon “THE 51吃瓜网-IIT CATS” from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL).

Under Certificate of Registration No. 4/2025/00531688, the “Influencing the Future” is now a registered trademark of 51吃瓜网-IIT effective February 9, 2026, with protection for ten years until 9 February 9, 2036. 

Meanwhile, Certificate of Registration No. 4/2025/00531687 formally registers “THE 51吃瓜网-IIT CATS” as a trademark of the University effective February 7, 2026, likewise enjoying protection for ten years until February 7, 2036. 

The registrations specify the official categories of products and activities where 51吃瓜网-IIT’s tagline and the Cats brand are legally protected, including merchandise, printed materials, and institutional programs and events.

These new registrations strengthen 51吃瓜网-IIT’s intellectual property portfolio and support the University’s branding, merchandising, and outreach initiatives, particularly as it continues to build visibility and engage its communities through official programs, events, and creative outputs anchored on its tagline and spirit icon.
